Softball at SAS & APAC Season 3 Recap
The recent Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) Softball Tournament, hosted by Shanghai American School welcomed teams from across the region to compete for the 2025 championship. Despite gusty winds and shifting schedules, the games carried on and our athletes rose to the occasion. After a three days of fierce competition, our Pudong team brought home the bronze medal. Watch the highlights below!
While our campuses hosted badminton and softball, other SAS athletes were making their mark across Asia. Our soccer teams traveled to Kobe and Seoul for their APAC events, while our track & field teams competed in Beijing, with the Pudong track team earning bronze medals in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. Kevin X. made history by setting a new APAC 100m record with times of 10.91 seconds in the prelims and 11.00 seconds in the finals. Additionally, in Hanoi, our Puxi golf team triumphed at the APAC Trial Golf event, winning the team championship. Matthew K. took first place in the Tier A Boys division, with Hailin W. finishing as runner-up. In Tier B, Leon H. won first place in the Boys division, and Sol P. earned runner-up in the Girls division. A huge shoutout to our student-athletes for their determination and sportsmanship - and to our coaches, chaperones, and community for their incredible support. It’s been an incredible year of APAC successes. Go Eagles!
