Alumni Legends|The Advocate: Sofie Fella
Some people move through the world quietly. Sofie Fella ‘18 is not one of them — and she'll be the first to tell you that's exactly the point.
A graduate from the Class of 2018, Sofie's path since leaving campus has been anything but ordinary. From playing rugby at Harvard University to competing for the German National Team, her athletic career alone is the stuff of legends. But Sofie has never been content to let her story begin and end on the pitch.
She is the founder of Girls Lift Girls, a fitness community built on the belief that women should celebrate their strength without apology, and the creator of the 大 (Dà) Collection — a clothing brand born from a simple but radical idea: that women being big, strong, and unapologetically present is something to be honored, not minimized.
As a speaker, athlete, and founder, Sofie's diverse pursuits all converge around one shared conviction — that women and girls deserve to feel proud of and comfortable in their bodies. In her work and in the way she lives her life, she leads by example, showing girls everywhere what it looks like to own your strength, pursue your dreams and take up space without apology.
We are proud to call her one of our own.
