Join the SAS College Preparation Experience

Shanghai American School invites prospective families to a special event that highlights one of the most important parts of the SAS experience: our college counseling program. Our College Preparation Experience offers an inside look at how we guide students toward their best fit universities and support them throughout one of the most meaningful transitions in their educational journey.

At SAS, college counseling is a personalized, student-centered process. Our counselors work closely with each student starting in ninth grade to understand their strengths, goals, and aspirations. They help students discover universities that match who they are and who they hope to become. The results speak for themselves, check out where the Class of 2025 ended up here. Graduates leave SAS to join exceptional institutions around the world, and their pathways reflect both ambition and fit.

During the event, families will meet our experienced college counseling team and learn how they support students from their initial conversations about the future to the final stages of the application process. Guests will also enjoy a guided campus tour to experience our learning environment firsthand.

To top it off, prospective families can also listen in on our alumni panel featuring recent SAS graduates who will share honest reflections about their journeys, including the choices they made and the lessons they learned.
