Class of 2025 Eagles Take Flight
It’s no surprise that when Shanghai American School graduates leave here, they set off for incredible destinations around the world to pursue their dreams, and the Class of 2025 is no exception. As we reported earlier in the year, through hard work, dedication, and an endless pursuit of their passions, they received over 1,000 outstanding offers from universities worldwide! They then had to make the difficult choice of making a final selection from all their amazing acceptances.
This year’s graduating class includes future scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders spread across more than 90 institutions. From Ivy League campuses and UC schools, to Oxford, Cambridge, Toronto, and Seoul National, our graduates are set to continue their studies in some of the top programs at some of the world’s most renowned institutions.
13 students are attending Ivy League Colleges. 88 students are attending US News Top 30 Universities. 60 students are attending QS Top 50 Universities. 10 students are attending US News Top 30 Liberal Arts Colleges. Also of note, SAS students increased their selection of UK institutions this year.
While school rankings only tell part of the college journey story, all our student destinations reflect not only academic excellence, but also the diversity of passions that SAS students bring to their next chapter.
For many of them, the journey has just begun, as many colleges around the world have recently started their new academic year. Over the last few weeks, many recent Eagle alumni have been busy moving into dormitories, meeting roommates, and settling into campus life. Others are spending a gap year exploring career paths and philanthropic interests or fulfilling national duties before pursuing the next stage of their education.
The Class of 2025 has shown dedication, ambition, and heart. Wherever their journeys lead, we know they will continue to soar, and we can’t wait to hear their alumni stories and welcome them back home for campus visits.
