Cheers to Another Year at SAS

Another school year has come to a close at Shanghai American School – and of course, we couldn’t let it end quietly. Students wrapped up their final day with two of our favorite traditions: the long wave goodbye and a schoolwide water gun sendoff.

This school year brought no shortage of memorable moments. Our students earned international recognition in robotics, won multiple APAC championships, collaborated with visiting experts, and explored potential career paths through immersive experiences at places like Ruijin Hospital. We celebrated creativity in every form – from filming movies in Paris to staging standout musicals right here on our stages. And of course, we cheered on a class of seniors headed to amazing universities all over the world, ready to take on their next big thing.

To our students, faculty, staff, and families: thank you for a year of learning, laughter, and the occasional hallway traffic jam. We wish you a safe, sunny, and well-earned summer break.
