The Beginning of the Lasts for the Class of 2027

The first day of school comes with plenty of emotions, no matter what grade you’re in. But for Shanghai American School seniors, the last first day of high school feels a little different. We caught up with them to hear what was on their minds, from the excitement of finally getting senior privileges, to the realization that it feels like just yesterday they were walking into high school as freshmen. For many, this is a day they’ve been looking forward to since they first joined SAS. The feeling is equal parts excitement and bittersweet nostalgia, with one thing everyone seems to agree on: they want to make their final year the best one yet.
