Renee Courtier

Renee Couturier has been an Eagle Since 2019. She is an experienced educator and leader who has served in schools in Canada, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and China. She has extensive experience leading learning organizations at multiple schools. In addition, she has taught numerous subjects across Elementary, Middle, and High School. ​

​Renee is currently, Head of Educational Programs at Shanghai American School. Her role includes overseeing the PK-12 academic program’s strategic vision and the school’s professional learning program. ​

​Renee serves on the Professional Learning Advisory Committee for the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS). She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey & a Bachelor's Degree from Université de Moncton. ​

​Renee believes in empowering educators to nurture and inspire learners. She envisions a transformative educational experience where students are equipped to become future leaders and impactful global citizens, ready to make a positive difference in the world.​
