Daniel has served as Chief Executive Officer of IMAX China (1970.HK) since 2023 and was appointed Executive Director in 2024. Based in China since 2006, he oversees the company’s operations and strategic growth initiatives across Greater China and also serves as Executive Director to the Board.

Prior to joining IMAX China, Daniel spent nearly a decade at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he held senior leadership roles including Head of Media Finance (Asia) and Head of Motion Pictures China. During his tenure, he advised on film financing, strategic partnerships, and cross-border media transactions across Asia. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Financial Analyst at China Hydroelectric Corporation (NYSE: CHC) and Financial Analyst at Friedland Capital Inc., and also founded AF Design, a luxury automotive parts business.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Culture from the University of Florida. He is highly proficient in Mandarin and also completed Chinese language studies at Tsinghua University.
