Shanghai American School offers a Pre-K to Grade 12 Summer School Program to enrich and enhance academic literacy skills through a variety of engaging activities. The Program focus is on the development of literacy skills in an exciting, challenging, and nurturing environment. This academic program concentrates on the development of oral language, vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing. All learning activities are based upon instructional and learning needs of students.

SAS Summer School Program uses state-of-the art technology, the finest educational equipment and facilities and a dedicated professional staff to offer a positive and meaningful summer experience to SAS students in Pre-K to Grade 12.

SAS SUMMER PROGRAM … CATCH THE SPIRIT! 
June 16 - July 11, 2008 

In this new, expanded program, we’re offering everything from Chinese culture, to leadership, to sport, to theatre, to academics … all within a flexible schedule. We invite your children to Catch the Spirit at SAS as they meet new friends, connect with old friends, and enrich their skills and experiences.  The application deadline is April 25, 2008. SAS students have first priority for placement through May 5th.
