Welcome to all APAC participants and choir directors. We are honored to be a part of the APAC family and to be hosts to this year’s APAC Choir Festival. The camaraderie and the commitment to excellence each of you brings to this event contributes to the reputation that APAC enjoys among the broader international community.

On behalf of the Shanghai American School community, I welcome you to this year’s APAC Choir Festival. We appreciate you joining us in this celebration of our students’ passion, talent and commitment.
We feel fortunate to be able to host this event and share part of our community with you. This would not be possible were it not for a great deal of preparation and I hope you will join me in thanking Mr. Steve Doleman, Ms. Karolina Pek, and their respective teams for making all the magic happen.
When schools come together to create opportunities for students to perform, contribute, and engage with each other, wonderful things happen. I would like to encourage all of us, but most especially our students, to seize this moment, meet new people, build new friendships, and stretch ourselves as people, musicians, and learners.
We are thrilled to host you in our home and will make every effort to be gracious hosts. Should you need anything during your time at SAS please do not hesitate to ask.
