Thank you for taking the time to visit your alma mater. Any former student, parent, faculty or staff member of Shanghai American School who has spent at least one semester affiliated with the school is considered a member of our alumni and friends community.

A-Base, Our Alumni & Friends Database

We are always looking for ways to better serve our alumni and one of our hardest tasks keeping track of individuals as they move all over the world. That is why we have set up an online directory, A-Base, to act as a contact database and as a networking tool. So far, over 400 alums have registered. Do we have your current information? If you have not already done so, please register today, and keep in touch regarding your whereabouts so that we can keep you posted with news from SAS.

The Alumni Association

The Alumni Association has a network of representatives from the classes of 1929-1952. These volunteers help keep their contemporaries connected and to plan reunions. We are currently looking for class reps from 1995 onwards, so let us know if you are interested in helping in this capacity.

Many of our alumni, even those who were here for only one year, consider their SAS experience a life-changing one. SAS is a school with an exceptional history and tradition which has contributed distinctively to the lives of many young people. It will continue to do so with the support and help of those who believe that the school's distinctiveness is important and who are prepared to contribute to its continued success.

Numerous alumni have returned to visit the School in recent years and administrators, teachers and students are always thrilled to greet them and show them around. Next time you are in Shanghai, we would love to welcome you back too.
